Why the Change?
We value your privacy and the protection of your identity. Traditional sign-ons provide minimal security since they are static and can be easy to steal, break, or crack. Two-factor authentication provides added security against identity theft, phishing, spyware, and other online scams.
What is Two-Factor Authentication?
An additional layer of online security that provides a second factor of verification to protect your online identity. The first factor is something you know, like a user name and password. The new, second factor is something you have. At OBA Bank, you will receive a security matrix (similar to a bingo card) containing numbers and letters arranged in a row-and-column format.

A security matrix is a bingo-like card containing a grid pattern of numbers and letters. Along with your user ID and password, this security matrix will be required to log in to Internet banking to verify your identity. A particular value will be identified by its column and row coordinates.
